The Men’s Choir recently celebrated 10 years of faith, fellowship, and music ministry with a heartfelt dinner honouring God's faithfulness.
As one of the church’s four cherished choirs, the Men's Choir was founded in 2016, born from a shared love for singing and a desire to worship the Lord through music.
A Distinctive Sound
The original members include Kheng Meng Siong, Mario Serio, Solomon Fang, Teo Ek Kee, James Ng, Joseph Lim, Terry Ng, Nicholas Merrow-Smith, and Jonas Chua.
An all-male choir offers a strong sonic presence and rich harmonic textures that brings depth to congregational worship. Beginning with less than 10 members, the Men’s Choir practiced every fortnight. They learnt to sing different voice parts, harmonise, and develop vocal techniques.
Reflections From Members of the Men’s Choir

We hear from members of the Men’s Choir as they reflect on what serving in this ministry means to them.
Meng Siong, the current leader of the Choir, says: “Music plays a vital role in our lives. As we lift our voices to God, we express our thoughts and emotions that make us who we are.
We invite men who love the Lord, can carry a tune, and enjoy singing to give it a try—join us. Training will be provided to help you lift your voice in worship,”
Terry Ng: “I hope that the Men’s Choir will continue to be a ministry within the church, inspiring souls through the three-year themes of Faith, Hope, and Love.
I encourage those who love singing to step forward and join the Men’s Choir, experiencing the profound joy of stewarding God's gifts.
May their voices uplift spirits, touch hearts, and bring hope to both the congregation and the community,”
Jonas Chua: “I cherish the practice sessions with the guys. It is always a blessing to serve. We try to meet for a meal now and then and pray for each other. This band of brothers has been there for me when I needed support the most,”

Galen Tan: “As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Men’s Choir, my prayer is that this ministry remains a gracious and welcoming space. It is my hope that diverse voices come together as one, expressing our shared love for God through worship that welcomes, unites, and uplifts everyone.”
James Ng: “I have been part of several choirs, but this is my first 'Men Only' choir, and I find it to be quite special. We have come together as a group, blessed to praise the Lord with our voices.
May God continue to nurture this God-fearing brotherhood and make us a blessing through every song we sing.”
Stephen Loh: “I enjoy singing and have always wanted to join a choir, but I struggled with reading music. When (CCMC Staff) Joseph Lim introduced me to the Men’s Choir, he acknowledged my concerns. Meng Siong, the Choir's leader, is very patient, and over time, I slowly improved my ability to read music. I truly have enjoyed every moment of being part of it.”
A Testament of Faith
Meng Siong reflects: “As we look back on a decade of serving the Lord through this unique choir, we are grateful for the fellowship, brotherhood, and joy we have experienced through our singing. Our service is a strong testament of faith as we journey together. May our voices glorify the Lord, our Maker and Redeemer.
May those who listen be drawn to the God of faith, hope, and love.”
